    OK, so, those LCs are chuffing cheap. Give me three good reasons to buy one and it's my christmas present to my self.

    The fact is watches can be made for dirt cheap the average quartz mvmt costs about $25 or less some cost pennies, a Sapphire xtl about $50 and a case fro $30 or so. A leather or cheap metal strap for $10. The more you pay for the watch the more the company makes on it. There's the manufacturer, the middleman, the dealer and each doubles the price. And who do you think pays for Tiger Woods to wear a watch for a year?

    1 I have a quartz movement lp that kept perfect time for 4 years before needing a battery replacement.
    2 the seiko movement seraphim is talking about is great stuff for the money
    3 the thing looks cool and you'll get a great auto movement watch for 70 bucks
    4 the pound is kicking the dollar's ass

    To heck with your Tabac and fancy shmancy watches.
    I use one of these and they are a PITA on cloudy days. Inside works perfect in good light. LOLOL
