Thanked: 102Sign
A sign like that is not necessary in my neighborhood. I don't know of any neighbor who is not armed to the teeth.

But you see if I was a crook I would target that house when no one was home knowing I could steal some guns to use in my crimes. If I wanted to break in when someone was home I'd be prepared to immediately shoot the occupant dead.
Funny sign but stupid, very stupid. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 431Fortunately most crooks ain't as smart as you Big Spender. And here in TEXAS not only do we have concealed carry but we have a law called The Castle Doctrine, if some idiot comes after you in your home or your car or your work, basically anywhere that you have a perfect right and reason to be and they don't, and you shoot their sorry hide dead then it's just their tough luck and you go on your merry way, sweet. Conclusion - don't be an idiot.

As Bigspendur said, if the crook knows you arent at home.....castle doctrine dont mean squat.

Thanked: 431Pretty big 'if', so if they're wrong then too bad. They're the real stupid ones.

Yes but you see if its the typical dumb crook just looking to break-in to score whatever he can that's one thing but since he's been told the house has guns he's more likely to case the place to check when you leave or even worse he might come back with a couple of his armed buddies or plan a home invasion thinking you have an arsenal there.
