    I chose B True and A False.

But I want to clarify. I do believe that global warming is occurring, but I believe it is as part of a natural cycle. That being said, I really do think that we as a species could be a whole lot nicer to our environment, regardless of the whole global warming issue.

My simple answer for the purpose of what I feel the "nature" of the question is, would be A.
However, due to the fact that these are highly complex qeustions that are so over-simplified in these answers (as they need to be, really , to make a poll out of...nto bashing the poll or thread, here), that nothing but "other" can be a really accurate/honest assesment of how I feel/what I believe the science points to.

If A & B are both true, doe sthat mean that global warming is the peak of evolution?

I voted 'other' because I don't know. Seems to me that we are mammals with just enough intellect to give us an ego that thinks we are something more special than our chimp cousins and that we are the 'made in the image or God'. I don't know where we came from or where we are going but it seems that the majority of the scientific community believes that 'we' are contributing to the global warming phenomenon.

So you think there is a direct connection between people (read Americans) who do not believe in Darwinism and those who do not believe in AGW... or not? I do not see any other purpose this thread could possibly have.

I do believe there is a shift in the global climate occuring, and I think that humans are certainly contributing to it, but I am not ready to say that humans are causing it.

I do believe that humans are descended from animals (which are non-humans), but I am not sure there is evidence that points towards a single ancestor.

As such, I am voting that I think both statements are false.

I would also like to say that I, too, am curious as to what "correlation" you are investigating.

I don't know why you've put "Americans" in brackets. But apart form that, yes, that is exactly what I think.

Don't take this to mean that I think one causes the other.

To put it in evolutionary terms, I think both lines of thought share a common ancestor

Going to have to agree with this statement 100%. I think I've said these exact words before while describing my stance on the issue.
