    He certainly wasn't Good and Angel Eyes (Lee Van Cleef) was as Bad as they get so that leaves Ugly.

    GBU trivia: Original title: "Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo" actually translates to "The Good, the Ugly, the Bad" This led to some confusion in the "title" sequence (which is actually at the end of the movie). The English title misidentified the characters because it changed the order of the words but the filmed sequence behind the words was not changed. I think this may have been corrected in later releases.
