    Yes, in the absence of stricter security measures, I would use NoScript if you're on a Windows machine.

    Tip: I found that it's best to keep the "permanently allowed" list as short as possible, since having a longer list (very long) seemed to slow my browsing.

    I like no-script in FF a couple of adjustments I make are for it to allow scripts for pages I open through bookmarks, and to hide the bottom notification after 5 seconds, that way it stays for the most part out of my way.

    The more you use it and allow permanent exceptions to sites you trust the less you will notice it.
