What a plum.
The fact that he ended up 20ft away from the road does suggest to me that it was the guy driving like a berk rather than some sort of pelican related incident!
Lets face it, if you were driving sensibly you'd probably have been able to stop safely with the brakes on a car like that, not end up in a lake!

I would bet there was no pelican and the guy was texting.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

My brother in law just said the same thing, only replace the word texting to something I can't wrrite about here, and well, can't be done alone in the car.

Don't know about Texas, but talking on a cell phone and texting while driving are illegal in Georgia. I would imagine that he will have a hard time collecting a settlement from his insurance company for having an accident while committing of a crime. Originally Posted by JimmyHAD
