i think its awesome, the fact that people consider water to be the basis of life and here we find it on the moon so im sure life from "out there" is to far behind, plus if they sell bottled moon water you can always do like some water companies do now and just fill bottles at the tap and label it "moon water"

If there's water there, we can shave there!
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

As the moon has no atmosphere water will slowly disappear into the universe. Only if aquifers exist on moon will colonisation be feasable.

So they found 100 l, but how much do they think is there? In order for this to be useful for a moon base there would have to be a truly significant amount up there. For even a small base there would need to be at least 100 times that amount, likely even more.

Even if their was enough water, does not mean we should use it.

It's a resource, lying around, waiting to be used.
It's availability should be assessed, and used accordingly.
If there is only 100 liters, there is no point in using it.
If there is something the size of lake michigan, then I am all for using it., for example to fuel fusion reactors if we ever get around to building any.

Just leaving stuff in place because it is there is pointless. We might as well stop existing as a species. It is also a bit contradictory that you should post that opinion, using a computer that was built with finite resources extracted from the earth, powered by electricity that is not renewable
