Thanked: 143In my case the agitation is there to begin with. I don't like people trying to take over my life nor drive the country into the ground for their own enrichment. If you want to talk about getting rich, look at most politicians including those on the left. For example Al Gore stands to make (more) millions and maybe even billions from the "green" companies he is involved with. Go ahead, buy some carbon offsets from him. I'm sure he'll invest it wisely in his companies. Maybe even pay some "non-partisan" lobbyists.
The only "Talk show" radio I listen to is Rush Limbaugh and that is only if I happen to be driving when he is on. Limbaugh is actually very calm and the opposite of agitating and "inflammatory". People who disagree with him get inflamed but that is their problem, not his. He is generally soothing and mostly humorous. He does nail political things on the head nearly every time. He really understands people and can cut through the crap to get to the heart of things.
His understanding of things scientific seems to be somewhat "limited". I have not heard any of his comments on the CRU AGW emails but I suspect he a) can see through the people involved enough to "smell a rat" but b) probably gets confused on the technical details. This is a weakness of his. People who disagree with him will often focus on this even though it is usually beside the point.
I have never even heard Glen Beck live -- although I have read some transcripts and pretty much agree with what I have seen.
OK, I also listen to Neal Boortz if he is on. I generally agree with him more often than I do with Limbaugh but Limbaugh is more entertaining.
