In this case its different because the President was involved and security should have been airtight. I doubt they could be prosecuted for anything since they went through security. However, some Secret Service Supervisor will find himself counting counterfeit one dollar bills in Detroit for the balance of his career.

The best statement ever on this issue was from an O'Rielly viewer:

We don't prosecute illegals who cross our boarders into America why should we prosecute two people who walked through the White House doors.

I'm offended by that . Crossing legal boundaries is only serious if it involves possibly hurting someone on the left. I mean illegals aren't doing anything to us but using our money.
It truly sad that it happened, but they were screened through metal detectors etc, so the actual danger was minimal.

I think the producer and production crew should be pulled
in for conspiracy to breach WH security. These two dolts
are just dupes. Of interest the network has weeks of programs
in the can with a secret reality show cast so this may be just
a small part of months of planning.

If anything, you should be glad that people like this exist, and are known to exist. They're harmless and they keep the secret service on their toes. Even if there is an embarrassing incident like this, it is much better than people continuously test the secret service, than that noone dares to do so.

As a system, secret service security is better off for people like this.
