Thanked: 1Do You Belong...
Any of you belong to other forums or web sites that have nothing to do with straight razors?
I'm sure I don't need to qualify that. I don't think I need to say that you shouldn't admit belonging to the KKK or something. I'm not doing this to get anyone fired up.
I am curious to know if, on those other sites, you try to promote shaving with a straight and get anyone interested.
I go over to trapshooters.com once in a while. Very informative place, if you like shotguns.
Believe it or not, I do not belong to any knife forums. Too much candy... I'd never leave the computer...

I have two lists at Yahoo I maintain. One is just for the dojo where I train, the other is for the organization we rank with. I will admit after seeing what David did here I've been somewhat tempted to try something similar, especially since our current web hosting company has been a little flaky. I've hung out on other forums, but it hasn't been fruitful.

I don't belong to any other web groups. I do belong to the NRA, RMEF, NAHC, and Alleycat Allies.

The KKK Forum? I belong. Stuttering shoppers for KKK-Mart! I do belong to a few PDA forums, although since getting involved in the shaving forums, I seldom participate anymore.

I used to be pretty active in several satellite TV sites but they all got in trouble with "pirating" and most were shut down. One site had over 90,000 members and a huge community spirit element... we probably could have had a sub-forum there related to str8's as they had a whole gagle of OT forums. (One thread in their "BS" forum had over 5,000 replies!) Unfortunately the good died with the bad.

TimeZone.com
I hang out in the Modern Rolex Forum and the Omega Forum. In addtion to straight razor shaving, I'm interested in watches. However, not necessarily in that order as I've been interested in watches much longer than I've been shaving with a straight.

Hey, timezone is a great forum, I learned a lot there about watches... That's how I decided to go for my Certina DS Pilot, with (I think) ETA 2892A2 movement. And now I want the Omega Railmaster CoAxial... Grrr, so many hobbies, so little money...
