OSU. I root for UC too, because they are local(i am about 45 min away).

I had not doubt that UC would lose to Florida. I just did not realize they would get dominated the way they did. But they were outmatched and outsized at every position.

yes, I still can't figure Cinci out, are they for real or it was the distractions around Kelly that did them in?
Last year in the OB, they had a lot of seniors on D and same (I think) personnel on O, but lost to VT.

let me ask you this then without being confrontational? why do so many hate the SEC and put us down? we have to play harder just to stay on the field with larger colleges like NOTRE DAME and the such..

Notre Dame are nobodies, and super over hyped, I can imagine what kind of hype they gonna get this year with Kelly as HC..
For me the "hate" to SEC comes from constant media anointment, and arrogance of most of the fan base. SEC is presented as GODs conference which looking @ say bowl record this year does not show.
Florida was #1 all season while playing 1 D1 school (FSU) in the OOC schedule, that's over hyping imo. I am not saying there are no good teams in the SEC, there certainly are but all the constant anointment just makes me sick.

It is their fans. I wont make judgment on you yet. But 99.8% of SEC fans I have met I could not stand being in the same room with.

Where did you gt your info about other conferences being weaker?
Looking @ the NCAA rush D rankings, 2 SEC teams in top25, 2 ACC teams in top 25.
Take Ryan Williams, freshman, he ran for 1655 yards 21 td (ACC reccord that stands since the 70s) he has 3 total yards less than Ingram and played 1 game less. VT also played both ACC teams that have top 25 rush D in the country, Bama played only one - Florida.
Take Dion Lewis from Pitt, he has 1799 yards and I do not care which conference he played in 1700+ yards by freshman is something.
I do not even want to say anything about Toby Gerhard.

To me tha game was not interesting because ever since McCoy left it was clear who will win.

I am curious though where can I check on that statistic yards after contact?
Well the BS (or BCS) system seems to think the SEC is stronger. There are more highly ranked teams in them usually at the first of the year. Plus if Cincy, OSU, Cal, Texas, Oklahoma or any of these other great teams played SEC schedules they would never make the top ten. My sources for the stats on Mark Ingram were Kirk Herbstreet of ESPN. He could be wrong and so could I.
I agree the SEC is over-hyped, but they are more deserving than any other conference for it. Plus this is why we need a playoff system. The other conferences won't allow it because the second best team in the SEC was probably the true second best in the country. The BS gives the other conferences a chance where the playoff would knock the losers out in the first two rounds.

very weak argument, what you mean by SEC schedule? the conference? SEC has 2 good teams and bunch of mid of the road teams.
SEC OOC schedule was a joke , Alabama played one D1A team and 3 1-aa teams, Florida same. SEC bowl record 4-4 that's hardly anything to boast about.
Big 10 went 5-1 (1-0 vs SEC) this year and the ACC 3-3 and 2-0 against SEC,ESPN anoints SEC because they have a new billion dollar contract with them for the next 5 yeas or so.
