I'm sick and tired and mad about the words 'challenge' and 'possibility' (in Finnish of course).

Every time when something goes wrong, some foremen in my work say it is a challenge. Not things gone wrong. Whenever there's mission impossible to do, those same jerks call it 'challenging' or a 'possibility' for us to show what we are able to do.

    It is disgusting and low.

    Absolutely

Especially among the media or responders thereto. If it was really an absolute...there would be no more need for the fifteen minutes of discussion to follow.

I can't believe no one has said this yet...

Most overused word that, in it's overuse, has lost it's intrinsic meaning:

    Love.

Seriously, you're thirteen, he's fourteen, you've been going out for two weeks. You don't love eachother, you're not in love, you won't die without him, and it's not injuring you on a profound level to not be allowed to have the door locked when he's over. It's protecting your modesty until the next preteen rolls around >.<

(This rant was slightly based upon my sister... She's a /tad/ immoral...)

I know there are situations where love is properly used (it was at least seven months before I or my girlfriend said we actually loved eachother -we did, however, use it as "I love this thing about you" [EX: Laugh, smile, etc]-)

But... It seems like people are destroying the value of that word...

Just my two copper schillings... And my rant.

I think a lovely part of this debation would absolutely have to be "more unique." Hopefully, my comment won't ignite any imflammable issues.
