I agree. And anyone who would continually vote in those who do not live up to their word and do not have the peoples best interest at heart deserve exactly what they get.
In America we have two main parties and several minor parties And the more people that split off to these various minor parties to vote for their latest fix only serve to divide us and make it more and more impossible for anything but the worst of the worst get in office. This is why I say a majority of like thinking Americans need to use the engine already in place to move their ideas forward and vote out anyone who A) can not keep their word. And B) does not have the best interest of the citizens of the U S A at their heart. Our ideas and wishes do not need to be identical but our guiding principles should be. The Constitution is a good place to start, don't you think?

Oh, have I got just the thing for you!!!

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

...so... just ask and I will guide thy vote

Sure, what would you want to change first?

btw since you want unity how about the obvious and simplest solution - one party, my pick

I recon you've got some learning to do utill November... It comes every couple of years though, so no worries, some day you'll get there.
I've got to agree with Gugi. There are very few true Conservatives in the Republican Party today. Unless they vow to adhere to the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the original intent of the Founding Fathers they can take a hike as far as I'm concerned.

I've voted straight Republican since Reagan and last election I voted for Chuck Baldwin the Constitution Party candidate. I told my local representative that if he voted for the bailout I would never vote for another Republican again and I meant it. He voted for the bailout. I'm done with Republicans.

It wasn't just the bailout, that was the straw that broke the camels back. The Republicans had control of the Presidency, Senate and House of Representatives and did nothing to roll back the encroachments on our rights or our wallets. They continued to grow government and get involved in more and more foreign entanglements. Yes, they did some temporary tax reprieves, but nothing permanent.

Remember the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same things over and over expecting different results.
