I'm not worried about climate change. Al Gore is going to fix it.

Thanked: 259if you believe the global warming freaks, the severe snow is caused by global warming then of course they will always come up with a "spin" so they can keep their "cash cow" going..

Anyone seen Al the Gore lately???
Just wait for spring and summer to come around...... SEE!!! we told you, we warned you about climate change. They're not done with this yet folks. One way or another WE are going to pay another tax. I just can't believe that they are dumb enough to think that we are dumb enough to not see what they are trying to pull.

Uhmm... just a reminder that weather conditions in a certain state, or in a certain section of the country, or on a certain continent, does not provide relevant evidence to support, or to contradict, whether global warming is or isn't occurring.
The issue of global warming means just that-temperatures measured on a global basis, and over extended periods of time (decades, centuries).
The recent snowy weather here on the east coast, or in certain southern US states, is no more proof against global warming theory than the fact there has been very little snow in Vancouver, or that Australia has experienced unusually warm weather (its their summer) proves global warming is occurring.
Proof for or against the theory of GW is provided only by long term global temperature variations, not by a week or month's worth of hot weather in Sydney Australia, or snowy weather in Paramus New Jersey.
Just something to keep in mind.

Thanked: 151Until there is a very large tax and the government can do more deficit spending for this anti-warming hoax, this horse will still be grunting and barely alive. So, they will continue to torture the animal because they are anti-gun, anti-death penalty and anti-euthanasia so the horse will continue to suffer and never die. Plus, didn't you know that stopping climate change will reduce the cost of health care?
I for one wish they would save the horse the suffering and bring on some cap and trade taxes! I am really hoping taxes get so high that people start being unable to make car payments. Then, global warming will start slowing!

Thanked: 335Will the good Gore even let us use horses? As I understand it they emit a fair amount of methane, which is also a greenhouse gas no-no. Once we pay all those taxes you've noted plus the premiums for mandated health insurance, I doubt there'll be any money left over for groceries and shelter. I'm concerned that we won't be allowed to cut the trees we'll need for all the pine boxes.
All this worry is giving me gray hair; it's a good thing I can shave a good bit of it off with some of these fine razors we talk about from time to time.

But in all seriousness, recent comments on this matter have been pretty idiotic. When you're talking about an issue like global warming, one instance of widespread flurries in the middle of February does not debunk the fact that the last decade has been the warmest in recorded history.
