Mark Twain said that everybody talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it.

Didn't you get the email? You are freezing because of global warming. Get with the program.

There certainly appears (at least to me) to have been some sort of shift in weather patterns. Here in New England we are getting unseasonably mild weather while in the mid-Atlantic coast the snowfall records are being broken daily. I heard in Iceland the is no snow and in Canada the snow is being trucked in for the winter olympics.

We've had enough of cold and snow this winter, but it is rather a first normal winter for years. Last 15 to 20 winters have been exceptional warm. Winters used to be much longer and colder here and there was a much more snow some 20 years ago; much more than now.

Winters here in Montana have been strange, too. We got a couple of early storms and not much else in terms of snow. Friends of mine who ski were getting pretty depressed. On the other hand, the early snows and cold temperatures have made for great ice formation. Climbs have been forming early and more reliably this season. Some real gems came in this year.

    I'm pretty happy about it

Looks like global warming is the cause of all sorts of things. Here is a list of everything that has been blamed on global warming, put together by a british citizen. warmlist, I was surprised to find out even acne has been linked to global warming.

This is pretty funny, it's a song by my old man's good buddy.

I guess global warming isn't bad for everyone.
