Cheaper than a babysitter. I bought a cigarette lighter that had a sticker on it warning me not to hold it near my face, I took my chances.

It's not required anymore if the car gets married?

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Not if I beat you to it! Hell, my thumb has been out commission for nearly a week, maybe I should sue!

What? You mean guns are dangerous? That's it, I don't want one now. (sarcasm)

I knew of a guy in Australia who had that message on his mirror changed to "Objects in mirror are Losing."

Er, "gave us?" Not really. We were part of it already. That's what a branch-off is. You didn't give anything to us. We helped create it right along side you, and then took it with us, since we helped create it.

Although I'm glad we ditched the part where we pay a bunch of inbreeds a ton of money to sit around and cut ribbons in front of malls and pose for coinage. *cough*

Anyway, not the point. Point is, I'm sick of "OMG America did it!" being the stand-by answer whether it's true or not. It's also completely non-productive, and ignores the problems countries have inherently.

If people in developed countries can't blame their problems on the US (or can't get away with lying about it) they just pretend it doesn't exist. It's insane.

People all over the world are messed up. In the developed world everywhere, I see lots of racism, I see riots, I see corrupt governments, I see censorship, I see London and I see France.

And most of it's got jack to do with the US.

But people don't want to admit their own problems in their own countries, because most Americans will bend over backwards to apologise for things they didn't do, because the world has made them believe that they did. Why would other countries bother to do the hard work of examining their issues when pointing fingers is so much easier?

How convenient, to bully a country into taking responsibility for EVERY bad thing in the entire world, from silly warnings on baby carrots, to racism against indigenous people who've never even set foot in America to internet censorship that we don't do in America.

How very easy for everyone else, to just pile all of your problems on a ship that's sending out an SOS. They're screwed anyway, right?

So, to bring this all back around, why would people take responsibility when there's someone else who will do it for them?

At the end of the day, regardless of how or why it started, it's your problem now, and pointing fingers at Americans won't fix it. Deal with it. Just like we deal with the cameras that came from your country. We didn't consciously decide to outsource it to you. You decided to take it. So deal with the issue.

We're all people. Doesn't matter which flag a problem started under. It's all our problems.

I'd have to politely disagree with you on that one. Everyone knows the Simpsons did it.

Sorry, couldn't resist. On a more serious note, you hit the nail right on the head with that statement. I mean I really can't think of anything else to say besides that being brilliant.

Well, obviously. But I prefer to blame that on Matt Groening.

    And thank you. *bows humbly*
