Default The Ultimate in Manly Relaxation

I have discovered what may be IMO the ultimalte in manly relaxation. A nice shave with ToOBS Sandalwood creme and a big pipe full of strong English tobacco (and don't forget a nice single malt scotch or even a good beer to match). I was wondering if there are any others here that enjoy a pipe. If so what is in your bowl?

I too am quite fond of the pipe. Scotch is never in short supply around my house either, but I try to keep that to a minimum. Beer, especially vitamin-G, another story alrogether. Tobacco, well it depends on my mood. I lean toward the aromatics as they're less offensive to others. I have a few strong English tobaccos, and of those, probably Dunhill 965 is my favorite. I like North Sea from the Tinder Box, Chimney Smoke from the Gatlin-Burlier, and Blue Note. Peterson's are my favorite pipes, and of my Peterson collection, the tops is probably my Mark Twain I picked up many years ago.

All meerschaums here. Damned near anything from Pease, but I favor latakia blends. That said, I still favor cigars.

I'm not a pipe smoker but I do enjoy tobacco in cigar form. I received the sping 06 issue of Cigar Magazine yesterday and they have quite an extensive article on the origins of todays tobacco. Though it deals mainly with cigar leaf, it is vary interesting. Worth the read imo.

I have been known to enjoy both a cigar and a pipe. Since this asked about pipes, though - I have a meerchaum and a Peterson bent that are both very nice. Then I have 1-2 pipes that are of the "nearly disposable" drug store variety.

I like the latakia blends myself, though I also like vanilla (if I'm in the mood for something scented).

Quite a few pipes here. Mostly old Dunhills, S. Bang's, and Chonowitz's. I don't smoke much anymore, but enjoy Old Ironsides, Balkan Saseini, and Penzance.

    Exclamation NO Cigarettes Allowed

I prefer the Dutch cigars myself, but I don't smoke that often.
    My pipe sees different use.
