Used to watch him as Dan'l Boone in the 60's too.
RIP Fess. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

I'm one o' them old goats,Jimmy.Davy Crockett was a staple at my folks house.I really liked the way he played the part with quiet dignity.Makes me want to go out and buy the entire series, before it's forgotten.

R.I.P Fess Parker
Ladies and gentlemen:
I am saddened at Fess Parker's passing.
I met him in Vietnam when he visited the troops and found him to be a kind and gracious gentleman.
May he rest in peace.
Regards,
Obie
