    Either:

A baseball player, having earned the right to wear a baseball cap, may wear it any way I ...er, he pleases

    or

No baseball caps unless you can play baseball.

It seems that hat etiquette in the US is virtually extinct. I was taught that it was impolite to wear a hat indoors - never mind while eating. Many people still wear hats while sitting in restaurants - even people that I know to otherwise be polite and courteous. What to do?

But what do you do when wearing a stetson whilst firing a rifle?

I find that I can only effect affect my iimmediate surroundings. If at a restaurant and somebody is wearing a hat at my table. I request that they remove it..I have never had issues come from that. I can't change the world, but I can ghange my slice of it.

In my cousins youth(around the age of 12-15) wore his cap down over his face so that no one could see him and so that he didn't have to look at people. You could really see the development problems kicking in. It was very apparent to me. If he were my kid I surely wouldn't allow this behaviour. I wonder what else he got away with.
