Super loud automobile sound systems and the urge to kill
Having grown up when people were supposed to realize that they were not the center of the universe I am sensitive to disturbing others. I have never seen a rocket propelled grenade and wouldn't know how to use one if I had it but ..... when I am sitting at a traffic light and some inconsiderate idiot's booming bass starts permeating my environment I fantasize blowing them to kingdom come with an RPG. Anyone else feel this way ?
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Jimmy, I feel ya.
At my age (19) I've got a few friends that are as obsessed with their car audio as I am with straight razors. I personally hate it. Most of the time the bass is so loud you can barely understand the music.
I personally would rather spend my money on nice speakers rather than a huge sub woofer.

Sadly those were the different times then. Nowadays becoming a centre of universe or the hero for even one day has somehow become standard behavior. And not only for younger generation.
Here it is usually young boys who play these satanic ghettoblasters with even more terrible so called 'music'.
I once asked from a son of a friend who had bass speaker so huge it just got into the trunk of his 20 year old rusty Fiat Mirafiori. This young gentleman explained that he just wanted to a) look cool and b) get attention from the young ladies, but sadly missed the point that he a) looked stupid and b) got attention from everybody.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Thanked: 1936I'm one for a quality stereo system & that costs bucks...I know. Key word is clarity, but most of these "boomers" have only that, bass. I have a brick house with 6" studs & but there are a couple of these yahoo's that have woke me up (i'm on call 24x5). I finially got it all stopped, but that's just because I live in a more rural town. I tried being nice, but words had little effect. No harm was done to them or their property unless they shat themselves...I'd tell more, but I have been warned about my wording can be taken as "violent and/or threatening".
