Well, lets just say I have to be doing and trying new things every day -thats what keeps me going. I love the excitemement around discovering something new and exhilarating. Exciting in a way that sends a chill up my spine; kind of like the following video. TURN UP THE VOLUME!! and enlarge the screen.
P.S. the excitement begins after the Top Gun scene. My favourites are 3 and 2. 1 is OK....

That is a difficult question, Mark. It is interesting how were percieve our selves.
I would say I am first and foremost a social creature. Communicating with people is something I can do well, but it is also something I do on my terms. For example, every one I work with wants me to go out tonight, I don't want to, and I won't.
I am not an empathetic person. Whilst I find it very easy to spot peoples emotions, I do not always understand why they feel that way. My girlfriend, espcially, finds this annoying - she has often said I can read her like a book.
Which leads me on to the next thing, I am a closed person, her next statement would be 'and I don't feel like I know anything about you' and it's true. I don't tend to trust people, and I have found in my life that most poeple have one or two people they share things with, and those one or two people have the same and before you know it - every one you know knows everything.
I tend to think too much, perhaps that is not a bad thing. It can get pretty frustrating though, espcially if I am having a discussion with someone and they can't see out side of the box. It also can be quite difficult to relax.
I am happy. My boss said to me the other day 'no matter what happens, you still have that bloody smile on your face' It's true, I am a resiliant person, I don't have the energy to get depressed about little things, it takes much less effort to laugh them off. That is not to say I don't get stressed.
I make people laugh. I am nosey. I am not quite sure who I am, but I have no intention of changing.

I am a person who can put up with a lot.. but when I blow it produces a mushroom cloud.
My family comes first and foremost, as long as they are happy I am happy.
I love a challenge and will try anything once.
I could be call a jack of all trades but a master of none.. I can work through almost anything but most of the times the outcome is not always pretty until I do it multiple times.
I love to work with my hands though I have not really done much in that venue since High school until recently. ( My job has me sitting in front of a computer 10 hours a day )

Thanks for the opportunity to explore our delusions of grandeur.
If I had to sum myself up, I'd have to go with laid back. "No worries," "we'll figure it out", and "it ain't that big of a deal" are phrases that I use often; not much really bothers me. (though sometimes I do like to rant about things)
I've had people tell me that they wouldn't be surprised if one day my house burned down, that my response would be something like, "oh well, it happens."
When I used to be an actively working paramedic and firefighter I was accused of being overly calm at times.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
