    Mick, the original poster asked our opinion, I just quoted what the regs were here in the U.S., and my feelings on it. I have no clue what the protocols are in other countries and I'd have to be very arrogant S.O.B. to espouse that everyone else abide by our rules. Sorry if I came across that way.

    Nah, don't worry about me mate. I can be an over-sensitive ba$tard sometimes. I wasn't directing my comments soley at you either. I'm sorry to have caused offfense/mis-understanding.
    My opinion on the matter, is regardless of what the countrys laws are, if some respected member of a community has died then that community, no matter how large or small, should be able to honour that respected member with a flag at half mast.
    In my case it will probably be a pirate flag though, and not a country/state flag .
