Maybe we should start a whole new forum, The Nose Trimmer Place. Seriously, small scissors are the easiest, least painful and most energy efficient way in my book. Think about it. You use the simplest form of whisker removal available. (Thank God it's still available). Why go the high tech route for a few nasal hairs?

funny story.. i was at sears once and i'm having the man lookup something on the computer.. as he's searching he starts stroking his nasal hairs like they were a goatee or something.. it was disgusting.. he honestly had half an inch of growth outside his nostrils..
anyway.. to avoid that look.. i use a small pair of scissors with rounded points.. think i got them for a few dollars in the makeup section of a drugstore.

I use the nose hair trimmer attachment that came with my Norelco beard trimmer. I do have to say it's not all that sharp because while it cuts some hairs, it does tend to pull on some.
I use it for my ear hair, too. When I hit 70 years old I'm sure it will come in handy for the pending ecosystem that I'll have by that time!

Thanked: 3795I just have to point out that this thread is currently listed directly above THIS thread! I consider this to be an unfortunate coincidence!

I have a feather nose hair trimmer. It's a little mechanical job and does a great job. It works for the ears too.

Thanked: 235A small pair of scissors works fine for me. I have to trim the hairs when ever my students start pointing to my nose and giggling.

I'm surprised no one has posted about using tweezers yet. Every few days I pluck all nosehairs within reach.

I think I'm going to head out to find some scissors soon. I don't like the plucking and it seems that the concensus among many other people is that the mechanized contraptions pull as much as they cut. I haven't heard from anyone who has used a manual version, but I don't expect anymore out of them. It was a bit of a head slapping moment when someone mentioned scissors I can't believe i neverthought of that. I was also informed that there are some made specifically for this purpose.

The small rounded point scissors plus a battery powered nose hair trimmer. For ear hair I use a Wahl clipper.
