Good Thread Guys. I too like the B&W photos. There is just somethings that can be better shown when leaving the color to ones own imagination. I will try to get some put up when I get a chance.
Keep up the show until I can join in.

Giving this a Bump...
This thread has been dead since February 2011... Thought I'd give it a BUMP...
Some pics may have already been used...Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated...

Re: Old Black & White Photos
Love this thread. There is something about black and white photos. The top photo of the last post is of the Natural History Museum in London. If any of you guys ever get chance to go there its a fantastic day out... Especially if you can get on the tour of the Darwin centre where you get to see all of the preserved animals in Jars and see some specimens from Charles Darwin Beagle voyage!!!!

Yes, it's in my Profile section, in one of my albums there. I have like 4 or 5 albums there.
I had Max clean the blade for me a few years ago. All original.

My guess is at probably closer to 1826-1830, his father would have been in his early 20's, shaving age, at about those years.
My grandfather above, died young, age 40 years.
My grandmother above lived to 91 years.
