I think that is why some of the dog stories get to me...

    Watch "Hachi"

Interesting, dog movies don't do a thing for me (just watched Old Yeller and didn't cry or even feel sad, watched Marley and Me and not even an inkling of a tear (and I've had dogs since I was born).

The song, without the addition of my daughters, would mean nothing. The words of the song, appied to my relationship with my daughters, that's what does it.

I just watched it, and it definitely got me... wow. The choice of music, of course, plays on the emotions (leitmotif, anyone?) but the tragedy of the event, the strength of the man on the field, the compassion and dedication of his father...

...that is a combination of the depths of despair and the heights of human ability. Powerful isn't even the right word for it...

Yea, everytime I need to go to my vault and take out a couple more gold or platinum bars to convert to cash it makes me cry like a baby. Why I was telling Steve Jobs the other day when he called me asking for a loan, forget it no more unless your story makes me cry.

I have a similar "emotionless " history Victor. It was a bit of a shock for me when the release valve let go & realised I could cry but I'm sure its healthier than suppressing your feelings.

The ending of the Truman show always does it for me. Other than that....not much.

    Edit:
Correction.....I also balled my eyes out when my son (our first child) was finally born after about 12 hours of labour.

I was close when our daughter was born. But maybe I wasn't such a wreck at that moment since her birth was a lot faster.

I would have probably been considered emotion-less by most people I know and probably still am, as I usually keep a lid on serious emotional $hit until I have a little privacy and space to let it out without the audience.
