Thanked: 172She and children can always ,even thought at this time of year it is difficult, to remember whether her husband repents or not that God's Word says in Romans 8;28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
May she allow God to comfort her and her family.Consider where you will spend ETERNITY !!!!!!
Growing Old is a necessity; Growing Up is Not !

Prayers in route.
I don't think the law will just let a father walk away from parent obligations. If he makes a dime, part of it is theirs. If he doesn't make a dime then he is building a debt to them that must be payed when he works again.

Thanked: 3795Though in my experience with family court, they don't always turn in the direction you may wish.
I don't care what the parent is going through, or wishes to be, or whom the parent wants to be with. Putting yourself and your desires over the basic needs of your children is about as low as a person can sink.

Seems that some of us have an understanding of the loss that has happened to your church member and to Catrent. It happened to me as well many years ago and life continued. Slowly and painfully at first but each step was a step forward. Today I couldn't be happier. My prayers are sent.
The laws in NC for child support are fair. They use a figure for how much it costs to raise x amount of kids. Then they take the family income and figure out who makes what % of the total. My case was 70% therefore I pay 70% of that amount it takes a month.

I'm not in your area but quite use to tragedies like these through out the year. Our prayers are with them especially through this season.
I work with a number of different ministries here and from experience I have found if one ministry can not help they usually know who can. I did a quick search and found one of your local ministries that may be able to help.

mahailey,
So where do things sit at the moment? Is there someplace I can donate some money to yet?
