i had never witnessed such a thing.. but i have been in places where i get spooked or frightened and figured it was a ghost or spirit or something..
all this is very different.. i am really experiencing things happening.. but i don't feel scared.. for some reason.. i know it can't hurt me.. if something is moving things around.. that is something.. but i am not afraid of anything touching me or anything like that.. this isn't like any scary movie i've ever seen.. i'm being serious.. it's not like it's the amityville house or anything.. i mean.. i live in a flipping luxery apartment.. it's a two bedroom two bath.. only 1000 sq. feet..

yeah.. getting rid of all the toys is probably the very final last thing i would do.. i was more thinking of having someone come burn sage or something along those lines...
i think just asking it to leave is probably a good idea.. but i'm really not sure what to say or how to say it.

If it is attached to anything specific in the back room, then start by removing half of the stuff and see how it goes. Maybe you can find out what it is through elemination. If it is something specific of course. You could start by temporarily removing everything and just bring things into the house one at a time.
Btw, I have had instances of toys going haywire. I figured it out though. Some toys are activated when they are first turned on. If the batteries are low, they can't power the electronics anymore, which turn off. But powering off will allow the battery voltage to creep up again, after which the electronics will be charged again, the toy will react like it was just turned on, and the music will start playing. Especially with reacharable batteries this is an issue (because they have slightly lower voltages) but I've had it with regular batteries as well. changing the batteries always solved it. Worn switches have similar symptoms.
Have you tried recording it with a webcam or home cam? All things you mention involve physical movement that just has to be visible. Videotaping it would give you proof. In fact, that would have been the first thing I would have done. Also... take a step back and see if there are external factors that could be an influence. For example, washing machine doors are typically impossible to open mid wash. so if they do, something must be mechanically wrong. Or perhaps there is some dodgy electric equipment wreaking havoc on surrounding equipment.Last edited by Bruno; 01-04-2011 at 09:26 AM.

No, the interesting thing would be to hide a couple of nanny cams around the house and then just record for a day or 2. Don't tell anyone about them either (though I admit the bathroom would be a problem).
I don't want to sound overly skeptic, but it would be very interesting to see what is going on when things are moving. For the toys I would suspect electricity or batteries. For the moving stuff I would not know what to think, but the most probable explanation is that there is a rational cause for the things that are happening. For things to move, something physical has to move them.Last edited by Bruno; 01-04-2011 at 09:34 AM.

Thanked: 1160I am seeing that everyone has all sorts of logical explanations for all the goings on but.......what about the old spice bottle??You said it removed the cap, poured itself, recapped and put itself back on the shelf did you not? Or was I reading that wrong?? That alone would kinda give me the hebees ! I'm tellin ya Vic...Ya need to talk to it calmy and nicely and work it out.Fairly simple. And if that doesn't work, then it's time to bring in a professional or at least call one up and discuss options. Nuff said.............now..how bout a nice piece of fat for some cheerin up eh ol buddy

thanks.. the old spice was on a shelf in my shave den.. way high up.. not even the two year old could have reached it if her were standing on the toilet.. and i don't think he has the dexterity to recap it and set it back on the shelf.
