Thanked: 983Just to add my own brand of humour to lighten things up...Without trying to take away from the obvious problems Vic is having of course
Back in my early photography days, and when I was going through a dark period in my life, I did a lot of cemetary photo's. This one was a double exposure using a mate as a model...Needless to say he wasn't comfortable doing this. I deleted out the details on the headstone.

Thanked: 1160Hey Vic Mornin buddy,Yknow, everybody is giving alot of advice which is good.I suppose just to add more gas to the stew as it were.Like I told ya last night.I would just call a professional and ask for some advice for starters.Since nothing violent or harmful has happened yet,you don't know either way whether this is a good or bad spirit.so best not to try to antagonize it. ask a pro and see what they say.None of us are really professionals and although we mean well,You really need someone who has dealt with this for input. If it's good you could probably live with it or help it move on with the right guidance ,but if you tick it off, then you'll just end up with more trouble.

Thanked: 443+21 to Glenn24 and Hoghaloo. If you don't feel threatened that's a good thing. Make sure this presence doesn't feel threatened either. Try engaging it in friendly conversation. Maybe it likes playing checkers.
I spent my teens in a little house that had a creepy side and a pretty deep history. I'd find doors open that I'm sure I had shut, would sometimes be awakened by something in my room... never tried to engage it 'cause it was a freakout for me. Nothing harmful ever happened.
Yours sounds benign. Best to keep it that way or make it better by establishing a relationship.
Jack Finney wrote a gorgeous short story, "Where the Cluetts Are," which is about a sort of haunting. Very positive take on it. It's in his collection called About Time.
As Lynn always signs, good luck and have fun."These aren't the droids you're looking for." "These aren't the droids we're looking for." "He can go about his business." "You can go about your business."

Thanked: 240Wow, kinda wish I hadn't read this thread before bedtime
. Seriously I never used to believe in any of this stuff until I went for drive one night with two friends and found ourselves at a four way stop where something hit the car and then none of the four roads took us where we were going (we weren't lost I knew all four road just none were the road they actually were, if thy makes any sense. Then we saw a three board fence flapping like a flag.... Anyway I have to say I believe in it now and understand that you can say you can feel a presence and that it not just random things. I find the old spice and the broken glass the most troubling. Kids toys randomly turn on... I don't know why but with 6 younger siblings I've had plenty of experience with toys turning on for no reason. But a glass does not wait for you to leave the room before falling. Also breaking a glass is allot more alarming to me then playing with toys. That said if you "feel" something I'd tend to believe it. I have no solutions for you all I can say is good luck and keep us updated.

Aha! I knew somehow this was a ploy to buy more shaving stuff. Those toys are taking up valuable AD resources.
Seriously though, My wife and I moved into a house that we heard footsteps on our deck and upstairs while we were the only ones there. We heard crying through our baby monitor while my daughter was sound asleep (20 acres from the next nearest house, I doubt it was cross talk), and all kinds of other spooky stuff. We had friends that heard it too and refused to stay over any more.
We moved, but it did not track with us.
