Thread: please don't consider me crazy.. but i think i'm haunted.

thanks a lot.. i have yet to see anyone or anything.. but i have all of a sudden felt a chill in the room and some sort of indescribable presence..

my friend and her mother on the other hand have said to actually see a dark shadow type of thing and my friend has once fell asleep on the couch and felt as if she was awoken by it and felt as if it didn't want her in the livingroom.. so she went back to her room but was unable to go back to sleep.

I think you should pick up one of these and wear it around, so this thing knows you mean business.

Aside from my more rational advice, seeking professional help in the form of a priest or such might be another angle from which to solve the problem.

thank you very much.. i was a little concerned that everyone would freak out.. i do want to let everyone know that although things are strange.. i don't feel threatened or like i could be harmed by whatever is happening..

it's a very bizarre situation.. but as of right now i feel safe.. i havn't seen any actual "ghosts" or anything like that.

Just remember this... If it's real to you, it's real... Get a cat, they will be the true teller of the truth...

interesting you suggest that.. i wasn't even considering it.. but we just adopted 2 cats the other day.. we pick them up on wednesday..

i was just getting them cause i like animals.. the bulldog is coming in june.

I agree with Bruno on this.

What I would have done is:

1) Hidden cams. to see if "someone" is messing around.
An acquaintance had strange things happen to her and her house. It turned out that her ex-husband had hacked into her pc and remote controlled several devices in her house.

2) If there is something "spooky" on the cams, contact your priest.

+1 on nightblades advice and I would also use a lot of Sage incense or smudges. It's a long time thing for cleansing spiritually, used by many cultures and religions. You could also go the, 'get a catholic priest and have the house and it's contents blessed' route.
It isn't unknown for an entity to attach itself to someone or something, I would be wondering why it has attached itself in your particular case. Were there no other young children/babies in the previous house prior to your friends children?
Another way to deal with it is to take the logical route and explain it away with 'reasonable' solutions. Things like telling yourself, "Well, since they's ain't no breeze 'cause the winders shut, I must be lead footin' it around the house to 'ave caused that dern door ta slaim shut!" etc. You can tell I probably don't take the 'reasonable' route myself. I tend to think that reason and science can't explain everything, and that just because there isn't proof of somethings existence, doesn't mean a damn thing when that something is annoying you.
I would advise using a calm mind and caution and I would also advise looking into some new age techniques of psychic protection as they may help, if all in the house attempt to do it regularly. As one belief is that the entity feeds off the emotional energy of the living. Psychic protection will keep your own energy contained. Causing the disturbances to slow down and eventually stop.
Just some of my thoughts on the matter anyway, and now of course, I sound just a crazy as you....

P.S I once lived in a house that had a serious problem, the kind of spirit/ghost/entity that holds you down, the kind that hits you when your sleeping or not expecting it, the kind that shows itself to you. They can do physical harm mate. Just a warning on that aspect of it for you. I never felt any fear either in the early stages.
