Don't recall the original airings of Outer Limits, but I remember Night Gallery.
As a side note, a lot of the SciFi shows mentioned are re-makes. The original Dr. Who aired in the 1960's, Battlestar Gallactica, mid-late '70's, V, early-mid 80's

Firefly was one of my favourites, I was really sad when that was cancelled. It only ran 14 shows as well..!
It was one of the few things that I've watched where I've liked the characters and liked the story as well. The film (Serenity) was great as well, but we need more! I dont think they'll keep running with it now though, as Wash was killed in the film.

The wife and I both are crazy about firefly. We are the midst of series on bluray this week and will cap it off with the movie. Great entertainment!
