I too will pray for God to keep you and watch over you during this trying time, and to grant you with a speedy recovery.

Labs sent to VA for confirmation, and results returned today. Diagnosis of Acute Cytomegalo viral infection. It acts like a mononucleosis, only more severe. The disease itself is not uncommon, but my body's reaction to the virus is rare. Got possibly 2+ weeks more of the fevers/sweats before it runs its course. At which time the tissue damage/inflammation of my liver, spleen, and lymph nodes should start healing themselves. Ugh....it is good to finally have a culprit, even if it has to last for a while longer.

At least now you can see your way out, it must beat dealing with the unknown and the uncertainty that it brings. God bless and get well!

Obviously, you'd rather not be sick, but that is fantastic news. Some of the things on the FUO (fever of unknown origin) list are kind of scary. Glad you're on the way to recovery.
