    Default I have a blog

I made a blog. I'm posting this here because there are people here who I consider to be my friends, so this is a way to let my friends know. The premise is... actually, that's what the first post is about.

If you care, you'll go. If not you won't. Doesn't matter, that's the point.

    Who really cares?

I may be more tempted to read your blog, as it contains your random musings, rather than a "I was here, now I'm here..." sort of experience journal for travel/food/etc. that most blogs become.

Tell us when you randomly muse again.

I've wanted to run my own blog for quite some time now. I just haven't bared-down and done it.

I know what you mean about 6:37 and 7:00. I went through all the hoops to get a *seasonal* *PART TIME* job and during all the group orientation & the private interviews it was made clear that it was only going to be 4-6 hours a day...you weren't going to rack up the hours. (I'm thinking "PERFECT!!!" a part-time job, active, leaves me plenty of time to run my business the rest of the day, and pads my resume as well.)

Get a call to meet up for the first day about 30 minutes earlier than I had been told was the earliest (not a big deal, breech of principle but I took the "let's knock it in the head and be done" attitude). I by chance asked when we'd be done. Turns out it was going to be a 9-10hr day starting late-morning. I was furious. And what if I hadn't asked? What a waste of corporate dollar. I think the supervisor was even more furious when I called and told him he'd wasted both our times since 2 of 4 parameters of the job had been busted before my first day ever started.
