Thanked: 346Glenrothes is one my my favorite non-islay malts (others are highland park and edradour). Macallan used to be a favorite, but it's gone downhill since Suntory bought them and made them quadruple production.

Thanked: 346That seems awfully pricey. My glenrothes is the 1974 and I think it was only about $240 or so.

none of those is the same bottle...Im not sure if there was somethign different about it...
The bottle was only 700 ml not 750 it was hand labeled and numbered let me see if I can find a pic online...

its 1972 speyside single malt 700ml limited to 50 casks....thats all I can find about it. I also cant anyone who says its available anymore...maybe thats why the price is inflated?
