Then you're a better man than me, because one of the places I draw the line is racism. Like you, I'm heavily opposed to it, but unlike you I'm just completely incapable of letting people express it (unless they're capable of expressing it while spitting out teeth, that is). I still have some work to do in my "freedom of speech" attitudes. There's generally at least one thing that each of us has a real hard time stomaching... for some it's flag burning, for others it's criticism of government policy, abortion, religion, drug use, etc. For me, my hot button is racism. Well, that and book burning. And there's that child pornography thing. People who abuse children need to be detesticled with a fishhook and some needle nose pliers. Wifebeaters too... and animal abuse. Censorship. Telemarketers and spammers...

I agree with you on most of these counts Gary. I am against any form of child abuse including child-beating. People who distribute child pornography are just distributing evidence of their criminal acts and should be thrown in jail for a long time for that.
I'd allow people to burn flags, but they would lose my respect. If you don't like the policies, bash the government, not the country -- that's the sensible approach.
Telemarketing and spamming are just legalized commercial harassment. It should be dealt with on a UN level and cut off any country that supports spamming and unsolicited calls from global communications.
I think we've both done enough griping and complaining. Terry is absolutely right with his eloquent point. Cheers to both of you!

I just felt like I have to appologize to the SRP community for losing my cool in this thread. This place means a lot to me and I hope that if I have offended any of you gentlemen, you can find it in your hearts to forgive me.
