I agree with Garythepenman’s comments as a resident in NZ, Gary is in a better position than I to comment on NZ but as an Australian who has lived and worked in New Zealand and have visited there numerous times I have nothing but praise for the people of New Zealand. They are generally about the most accommodating and friendly people that I have met anywhere in my travels both inside and outside of Australia. New Zealanders enjoy a lifestyle that would be hard to better anywhere else in the world. I would still be in NZ only work took me elsewhere!

As for Anti American sentiment I’m not aware of any and the same goes for Australia. However I think NZ did tell the U.S to Stick the ANZUS Treaty and to take their nuclear powered navy ships elsewhere but there was no offence intended….LOL
Both New Zealanders and Australians tend not to take themselves too seriously, a concept that some Americans that I have met seem to struggle with!
Living in NZ certainly has more pros than cons but if you want to move to NZ learn to love Rugby, the colour Black and Beer!

That’s my A$41,216.33 worth
