Thanked: 993A milestone
I think that celebrating milestones is a good thing. It seems, after a year and a bit on SRP that this is my 1000'th post.
I'll be celebrating by logging out shortly and going to sand some blades in the workshop.
Just wanted to share my with those who understand the hobby (and the milestone).

Good on you.
I must say it is nice to see that it took someone else a year to reach 1000 posts when there are so many guys who can do that in one month. It just goes to show that experience has a little less to do with post count than some may think. The join date may also be a valid expression of experience.
This is not a jab at Jimmy who apparently can type faster than the speed of light and can average 1000 posts per day, rather it is a reminder to newbs who might latch onto someone who can spend more time behind a computer collecting pseudoexperience than someone who is willing to spend time in the shop or behind their hones gaining actual experience.
Anyway, I'm glad that you stuck to the hobby I consider you to be an excellent resource for this forum.

Congrats on reaching the mark.
Me, well after six months I'm just into the nineties, so figure I might have a small glass of something when I hit the ton.
