Always horrible when we loose any member of our military. Yesterday was a horrible loss of some very highly trained personnel who will no be easily replaced. My thoughts are prayers are always with those of our military.

38 people lost their lives in the crash.
From the BBC:
My condolences go out to the families of all of those who have lost their lives needlessly.The US military is trying to confirm whether insurgent fire brought down a helicopter in Afghanistan with the loss of 38 people, most of them Americans.
The dead included Navy Seals, Afghan commandos, US Air Force personnel, a dog handler, the Chinook crew and a civilian interpreter.

Rest in Peace. These were the elite. Team Six members. I think it was a hit and orchestrated.
