Ahhh.... I too am always thankful that I am employed. I am always the optimist but sometimes I just need a day to myself. I think I am going to do a quickie road trip this weekend and in November, jump in my little red convertible and take a long road trip to see my parents in Florida.

If you have a job where you get sick leave or personal days count yourself lucky because most folks get no such thing.
Before retirement, in my job you accrued sick days and could build them up and eventually they counted towards your retirement. We had two types of people. One took off all their sick time as they accrued them and a few years later found themselves in trouble because they really got sick and lost the pay and the other type were folks who had thousands of hours and never took a day even if they were so sick they were at death's door.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
