Some years ago some kids went into my car at night and all those poor bastards could do was to stole few cd's. They even left the cd player intact which could have been easily removed. I do not keep my doors locked while away from the city so there really was not much harm done.
However, decided to keep my car doors locked for some time after that and one night dogs woke me up. I looked from my window and saw few youngsters from the neighborhood trying to get into my Opel. Probably they were after my cd player because there wasn't nothing else to steal. I just opened the door and let my dogs out. Dogs quickly told the kids, in their noisy and pretty effective way to run away. The faster the better.
Few days later i saw one of those kids standing at the bus stop, so i stopped and told him to bring my cd's back and if he or his friend will never ever try stealing again, anything from anyone, then i will unleash hell. In any possible way there is.
That worked, i got my cd's back with apologies. They were just little kids, nowadays young teens. Nowadays they are doing ok. I still keep my doors unlocked except when in the city.Last edited by Sailor; 11-15-2011 at 09:35 PM.

We had some little dark scrotes break into my wifes' car when parked outside the old peoples home in Perth WA, luckily she left noting of note to be pinched, then a week later my daughters's car was broken into by the same bunch, and she did lose an ipod, mobile phone, ve expensive sun glasses, not to mention the inconvenience of getting her side window replaced. The police were not much interested as these kids are aboriginals and juveniles the legal system ties itself in knots over the little darlings. I know it is a symptom of these kids frustration and dislocated lives but hell even your dog knows right from wrong.
cheers

Thanked: 19I never said that I would kill anyone. I would not kill anyone unless I thought my life or the lives of my loved ones were in danger. I would definitely hold the gun on someone while I called the cops though...

This is an invitation to burglary. Guns are always a "hot" item. I remember seeing an ex burglar on a documentary a few years back, he had gone straight and was working for an insurance company, he said that the "beware of owner" signs guaranteed a gun was in the house and that a breakin would be profitable. Ya gotta remember, they do these things when you are not at home. If they did these things while you were at home I would have killed the motherf@&*er that broke into my home this summer.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

Thanked: 19I never thought of that. It makes sense though. I might have to reconsider the sign.
