Is this the sort of place where a normal US sized meal will feed a Belgian family of 4?

I think I might have to try the Animal Style. I could probably just eat that and be fine for about 24 hours...of course, I'd have to sleep for about 18 of those, like a lion.

I'm curious how many call girl advertisements someone could get if they took every piece of paper offered to them on the strip. It could become a new game. See who gets the most, recycle them.

Actually Bruno, this is one of the few normal places where you wished they would serve a large US sized meal.. Comparable in portion to a 'Quick Giant' menu.

I grew up in Vegas and my favorite places (bars and casinos) to go to were the downtown ones, around fremont street. For drinks you should check out the downtown cocktail room.

If "In & Out" was 5 minutes away from me; I would be 500 pounds and look like ZZ Top.
You would see my razor collection on Pawn Stars.
All my straight razor money would go to burgers & root beer.

You know the place is good when a Vegas conversation turns into one about burgers.

On a side note, my favorite things to see/do in LV before I moved here were the garden at Bellagio (right next door to Caesars) and all of the great food on the strip. If you like creative food in large portions, try Hash House A-Go-Go at Imperial Palace for breakfast or Le Creperie at Paris. For dinner, you can never go wrong with Raos inside Caesars either... it's absolutely amazing. (I used to work at Caesars so I'm a little bias but trust me)

If you just want to see some cool stuff, walk around the Cosmopolitan (where I work now) and just keep your eye out, they have some really neat stuff just randomly placed throughout the first few floors.

One thing I liked about Vegas was that hotel rooms in the casino are so cheap.
On our first night there we didn't know so we stayed in a ramshackle hotel at the end of the strip.
The place looked right out a tarantino movie.

The door had no lock so we had to move a cabinet in front of it.
The bed was small and lumpy.
When we got there it was noon. When we tucked in for the night we first noticed the humongous neon sign in front of our window, when we turned off the light and the room stayed lit. The entire room look 'old', and not the good kind.
At midnight, a drunken man and a spanish prostitute started arguing very loudly in front of our door.
An hour later, the argument repeatted itself.

I have to admit it was very clean though.
We still laugh about it when we think back.

By any chance were you staying at the Blue Angel Motel?
