Default Before I smashed my leg

    Hi All,

I had a pretty bad accident a few years ago, smashed tibial plateau. I happened riding a KTM 300 two stroke dirt bike through a forest and I decided to hug a pine tree...ouch Eventually I got my knee replaced.

Before this I was in to bikes, sports bikes, dirt bikes etc..I found a few pics.

Both dirt bikes I converted to Supermotards as around Christchurch there is some very winding hill roads to hoon about on.

    Just thought I'd share.

    Gary,
I too have been known to hug a few trees...but never at high speed . Ouch!

Nice bikes BTW. Did you use the proceeds from their sale to finance all of your other low cost hobbies ?

    Cheers,
    Ed

Unfortunately "mission control" got the proceeds whilst I was in hospital. I was unable to work for 14 months so something had to pay the bills.

I'm not sure yet whether the bikes or straight razors are less demanding on the pocket. Then there is fountain pens..
