Thanked: 96So true, which is the problem I have with the military.
Why should those protecting our rights, give up their rights to do so. If you can get by without driving while in the military I would still go the route of no license, if it is needed for the job you choose, then that is where pragmatism comes in. It is like my life, I believe I have the right to work, however most jobs I do are only available to union members, therefore I joined an union.
Good luck in the military, and I hope we communicate for the next 60+ years on this site.
