Thanked: 993Oh that's nice. When I was working for CN Rail I used to love when a diesel pulled up beside my sleeper (ATCO). There's no better sleep than a couple thousand horsepower running at idle.....it's a full body massage, and smells good too!

I used to work on them. I'm a Mechanical Foreman for Metro North Railroad so I get to play with them often enough.

Thanked: 198the pics of the old shays i posted are because we have a state park here in west virginia where they use the shays to haul people up and down the mountain, as it stated in those pics, cass is a wonderful place. the guys that work in the engine shop have to be living out a dream working on those old iron horses like those.

I've been to WV. If they flattened that state out, it would probably be close to the size of Nebraska. LOL Got some "interesting" folks there for sure.

Thanked: 198interesting is an understatement, just what the movie the wild and wonderful whites of west virginia, and you will see some of the WORST examples of our residents, i dont believe we have much worse than that.
