Well, for me the funniest part was that the now CTO was about 8 the first time he heard this, and this went on for years. Who does that, really!

Yep, I'm sure his Grandma had many issues with Gramps, and lousy sex was probably one of the lesser ones.

Regardless, I am sure anyone here knows / has known / seen / heard some 'hos' - sorry for even using this word! As for the second 'wisdon' - leaving aside the argument whether you 'get' something - I keep hearing how some guys decided to marry just to have easy sure-fire way to get sex when they want it - and it only turns out that they get screwed, eventually.

Let me share a short true story: a rich american was on a business trip in my home country. there he met a girl, fell in love, and got married. She came here, and after several months hooked up with one of my buddies. He has one of the best male bodies I have seen in real life, works as a stunt guy in Disney - MGM Indiana Jones show; the American guy is a nice guy but fat. Not sure how he performs in bed, but I hear (from other girls) my buddy is ripping them apart. Anyway, now the girl is out with my buddy 4-5 times a week (she does not work, of course), stays with him when she wants, goes shopping for clothes and stuff all day, got 1 new Lexus, then a Mercedes in one year... BTW, I'll see them tonight as he's having a bid b-day bash... So, in my book, the American got screwed eventually, even though he did supposedly get something out of it. Funnist part - my buddy wants to marry her, she's telling him he does not have enough money and, can you imagine, he actually suffers and drinks like a horse...

And, for the record, I totally agree that one cannot generalize like this. The extremity was part of the twisted fun I found in these pieces of 'wisdon'
