Thanked: 9Women wisdom
Just read something that jogged my memory and since I assume there are no female readers I feel comfortable sharing this here (fyi, I am married and have 2 daughters and insulting women or denigrating them is the last thing I intend)
So here it goes, the Gramps of a CTO I met some time ago used to tell him these two things about women:
1. Whores... Whores... Whore.
2. Sometimes the fu$king you get is more than the fu$king you get.
Now, the first one is disgusting. The second, however, might be true in some cases.
Cheers
Ivo

I don't think you have to worry about anyone being offended by that, since it doesn't make much sense.

Thats complete BS.
First, most guys take the women in their life for granted, eventually they grow tired and find something better.
Second, only guys think of sex as somthing they "get", which makes you wonder if it was any good for women in the first place.
Third, only guys will take a girl for granted, give lousy sex, check out any chick that walks by, never give a gift without a good reason, rarely "help" her with chores, leave most of the child rearing responsibilites to her, grow a huge beer belly, watch football all weekend, etc.
. . . and ask her to grab you a beer on her way out when she says "I'm leaving"

I find when I generalize about anyone or anything I am usually wrong. I think this can apply here too.

Alan,
I beg to differ. I see women as PEOPLE. There are good ones and there are bad ones. I've seen women walk out on their husbands and kids or mess with the kids' minds so much that they'd hate their dad for defending them from mom's beatings. Ofcourse, there's plenty of those phenomenons that you described going around as well.
However, there are lots of relationships where the two parties are equal partners, genuinely care for each other and show it on a daily basis.
My point is that we shouldn't be ragging on either sex. Let's deal in idividuals instead.
