Brother in Arms! I spent 2 years on the JFK. Ships company. I was a radar tech. The dang arresting gear was right outside my bunk room. I had to wear a headset and listen to 8 track tapes all night to be able to sleep. We were on the way to relieve the America when the war ended.
The rest of my hearing went to an old Piper Comanche 260C and various industrial jobs.Last edited by Crotalus; 04-14-2012 at 03:44 AM.

Isn't it true that only State Judges are elected and Federal Judges are appointed?
So half are corrupted by money and the other half by politics.
If they are appointed by your side they are upholding the law. Appointed by the other side they are progressives.

I think you have an overly romantic notion of how arguments were settled.
Yes they would step outside, and then one of them would beat the other senseless and caused bodily harm. The victor would walk away and the loser would remain unconcious until he woke up and managed to get home, or until his friends found him.
The notion that people were somehow all honorable and chivalrous in the wild west (or any other place, 100 years ago) is really not correct.
People were still the same people. No better, no worse.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
