Seriously though Gary sorry to hear that. I was a software engineer for about 11 years and had that happen a few times. Had a home based business for five years after the last time that happened and worked at the post office part time. Now I'm a mailman! Best job I ever had. Money isn't as good but if I take work home with me I'll go to jail! Oh yeah no layoffs either. Go union!
Best of luck!

Gary, I wish you luck on your search for a new and better job...
In my country loosing a job is little to worry about. It happens so often, everyone is used to it... sadly...

Very sorry to hear about the job Gary. I hope things turn around quickly for you.
I too would be interested in an SRP fountain pen. Maybe something with an flexible italic or oblique nib? Even if we don't do it en mass, let me know if you would like to build just one or two.
Cheers,
Ed

Gary, that certainly sucks but hang in there. Focus on job searching and to keep up the spirit work on razors. Whatever happens happens for better, in the long run. It is the short run that is a PITA.

Thanked: 8Thanks all for your good wishes and words of encouragement.
btw I don't make fountain pens. I collect them, sorry. If I were to make pens they would be expensive as for me the best part of the pen is the nib and I would only use high quality bock nibs $$$$$.
I will be restoring a few razors though and adding some nice scales. Hopefully I shall have some NOS blades soon as well.
Cheers
Gary
