Thanked: 235I was thinking this morning as I was waiting for my wife to move out of my way so that I could prepair my breakfast. I spent half my life waiting to find the woman of my dreams and now that we are married I am spending the other half of my life waiting for her.

Our real estate agent is was ignorantly late for every meeting we had, we will never use her again. If I didnt luck out and find the house power of sale and view/purchase it that day, I wouldnt have used her at all. We had let our previous agent go for the same reason.
We would use you if you were in the continent lol
If it is your business to provide a service/schedule a time to meet you better be there! Not 5, 10 minutes late - 5, 10 minutes EARLY!
I would never EVER show up late to a meeting with a client, unless there was a natural disaster or medical emergency.
There is only one reason IMO that is a pass for being late, being the mother of young children. But they seem to have their $hit together better than most.

My friends know me for being late so I like to screw with their heads by being early. Lucky they can take a joke.

Thanked: 109A learned man once told me people who choose to be habitually late have a deep rooted problem with authority. It is passive aggressive as it initially manifests but inevitably results in their frequent failures with relationships, careers, and health.
Over the years I have witnessed the truth of his point many times.Last edited by jaswarb; 06-05-2012 at 10:45 AM.

Thanked: 20I haven't read the entire thread, but I have a problem with lateness. I try really hard, and for the most part I'm on time for work and things like that (its become a paranoia) but if I have lots of time, I'll leave, have no traffic, and have lots of time to wait. but if I have just enough time to get some where, I'll have wrong directions, traffic will suck, or something will happen to make me late. still my fault, but that's just the way life is. I'm also notoriously bad at estimating how long it will take to get somewhere. so I'll usually be later than I tell people. its a curse.
