Thanked: 3223Happy Canada Day
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy Canada Day, our 145th birthday, in this bicentennial year of the War of 1812. The outcome of that war made this day possible and has lead to 200 years of peace with our southern neighbours. A good outcome, especially the peace part.

Thanked: 1195Thanks Bob, and Happy Canada Day from Alberta as well!
In Edmonton it's completely overcast and pouring rain at the moment. Might put a damper in my BBQ and fireworks plan....

Thanked: 3223Our weather is pretty good today. Drove to Regina a few weeks ago to visit relatives, rained most of the trip. The west has been taking on the chin weather wise for a while now. Hope you catch a break.

Thanked: 1195Yesterday was positively gorgeous, but of course when anything is planned out the weather turns to crap. I got rained out on a camping trip to the Rockies last weekend too. Oh well, we'll see how it goes.
