thought I would give you a recent update of myself and my boy Oscar just turned 1 year old my Bedlington Terrier, he's going up for stud after Christmas, he will be getting £150 per service, at the ripe old age of 54 I doubt if I could command £1.50. :-)

Nice dog! 150 pounds per service - forgive me, but not being at all knowledgeable about dog studding, is that impregnation or, to put it crudely, per hump?

If it's per hump then presumably someone has to watch and count - do you trust someone who watches dogs hump all day? Sounds like you may need your own "scrutineer".

Thinking more carefully about it, I guess it has to be a "per impregnation" fee. I reckon I could come up with a better economic model based on a royalties system - stud dog gets, say, 10% of any resultant puppy sales. If your dog helped produce say two 5 puppy litters, and each puppy went for, I don't know, 500 pounds, you'd pocket 500 quid instead of a measly 300. And if he is a real stud-muffin you'd stand to make a lot more money than that!

Yes, but his picture is the right way up and I have to readjust my head from all this upside down reading to look at the photo. Thus I need to screw my head on right again, because I've had to adjust it to read all the stuff you bottom enders (and ignorant of the fact) are typing.....
